Our Staff
Our full staff works from mid January through April 15 each year for tax season. Each preparer brings experience and tax knowledge into our office. They look forward to meeting our regular clients and new clients each year in order to give them the best guidance they need to file their tax returns.
Watson Tax Service is open from mid April through mid January on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Linda has had a passion for income taxes since 1980 when she took her first course, and has continued her tax education annually since. She looks forward each year to seeing her clients and touching base with their lives.
She completed her Annual Filing Season Program Certification in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Linda was raised in Indianapolis and moved to the Lafayette area in the late 1980's. She and her husband, Dale, have been married over forty years and have two children and four grandchildren. Linda enjoys gardening, NASCAR, the Colts and watching her grandchildren in all their sporting activities throughout the year.
Barbara joined Watson Tax Service in 1976 working part time while working full time for the City of Lafayette. After retiring as Controller for the City, Barbara began working full time for Watson's. Her expertise is personal, estate and corporate taxes along with general accounting and payroll.
She received her Registered Tax Return Preparer Certification in September of 2012 and maintains her Annual Filing Season Program Certification by completing the required yearly continuing education.
Barbara enjoys traveling with her children, grandchildren and friends, and also volunteering for various organizations.

Tami Sherry joined Watson Tax Service 2020 as a tax preparer.
She is very outgoing, loves tax season and welcomes the opportunity to meet you and prepare your return.
She is a wife, mother, grandmother and also a manager for her husband’s business.
In her spare time she enjoys crocheting and camping in her RV.
